Kilauea LighthouseThe Travel section of the New York Times runs a series called 36 Hours, in which they outline some of the best activities to do when you’ve only got 36 hours to get to know a city.  In November this year, they highlighted our island paradise of Kauai.  Arriving late on a Friday and leaving early on Sunday, they cover activities all over the island, everything from shopping to museums to beaches, golf and entertainment.  You can read the complete NYT article, here: 36 Hours in Kauai, Hawaii.
